Female nurses to accompany male nurses into female patient rooms,following a patient giving birth

Yes , institutions have the right to amend their protocols to protect their patients, but for every male nurse to be accompanied by a female nurse into the female patient’s room;doesn’t it looks like the institution doesn’t trust all male nurses,rather than judge this specific case on its merits?

Phoenix: Arizona_A female patient who has been in vegetative state(Awake but not aware)for 10 years gave birth on the 29th December last year in Hacienda Health care facility.Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

The victim was admitted following near drowning ten years ago.

Care takers were not aware until shortly before she went into labour.Phoenix police in cooperation with Arizona department of Health are investigating the criminal case following the incident.

The institution has also amended their protocol which will allow each male nurse entering female patient’s room accompanied by a female nurse.
